Presentation Opportunities

Summer Symposium: to be announced for Summer 2013

NCUR : Undergraduates who have completed or are in the process of completing a research project may apply for funding: you do not have to be a UROP awardee. The student and faculty travel assistance applications are in the Forms Library.

Winchell Undergraduate Research Symposium : undergraduates in the sciences (including the social sciences and engineering) can do a poster or oral presentation on Saturday, April 13. Abstracts are due March 22, 2013.

UMD Showcase: an opportunity to do a poster or oral presentation on the Duluth campus on April 18. Deadline for registration is March 22, 2013.

UROP and International Research

The International UROP Scholarship is now available for fall 2013 international research projects. The deadline is May 1, 2013. The spring 2014 deadline will be November 1, 2013. This program is for students participating in select credit-bearing study abroad semester programs through the Learning Abroad Center. There will be a workshop for those interested in this scholarship on Tuesday, February 12, 2013 at 2:00 in 110 Heller Hall.
